The only available Alcohol by Volume (% ABV) calculator for both 60 & 68 degrees Fahrenheit calibrated hydrometers, taking into consideration sample temperatures for a more accurate calculation.



Overview

This application is primarily geared towards the beer homebrewing community, but can be used for assisting the brewing process for wine, spirits etc.

By providing the following information, the expected ABV % is calculated:

- original gravity reading
- original gravity sample temperature
- final gravity
- final gravity sample temperature

The option is also given to provide the hydrometer calibration standard, and calculate based on degrees Fahrenheit or Celsius.
